The Brief
Design Metric was assigned by Lyva Labs to create an interactive AV and storage solution within the client’s Liverpool office — enabling staff to host seamless virtual meetings and collaborative sessions with clients.
The focus was on blending functionality, discretion, and smart technology within a compact workspace, ensuring a high-end user experience for both in-person and digital collaboration.
The Concept
The installation incorporated Spacestor storage units designed by Design Metric — featuring glass writing panels for collaborative note-taking — and a discreetly integrated Intel NUC computer with Logitech Meetup video system and wireless keyboard and mouse.
A raised access floor was installed to feed a Lindy high-powered USB-C data cable, enabling staff to Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) for plug-and-play presentations and meetings.
The Outcome
The completed installation delivers a streamlined, future-ready meeting space — combining elegant design with seamless AV integration. The system supports flexibility, efficiency, and user comfort, while reflecting Design Metric’s approach to practical, detail-led workspace design.
