The Brief
Following the acquisition of a new distribution centre in Sheffield, RVT Group required a complete design and fit-out of the existing office accommodation within the building. The brief covered all front-of-house and operational areas, including reception, customer and guest facilities, kitchen and breakout spaces, offices, meeting rooms, showroom areas, and circulation spaces.
The project also included refurbishment of the main staircase, improved storage solutions, and updated internal and external signage to align the building with RVT Group’s operational and brand requirements.
The Concept
The concept focused on creating a practical, well-organised workplace that supported both operational efficiency and client-facing functions. Spaces were clearly zoned, balancing open working areas with private offices, meeting rooms, and a dedicated showroom environment.
The staircase was boxed in to improve visual clarity and safety, with a new under-stairs storage cupboard created to maximise usable space. Acoustic PET panels and integrated planters were introduced within the stairwell to improve acoustics and soften the internal environment.
The Outcome
The completed fit-out delivers a cohesive, functional office environment that supports RVT Group’s day-to-day operations while providing a professional setting for visitors and clients.
Improved circulation, clear wayfinding, upgraded facilities, and brand-aligned signage ensure the building works effectively for staff across all departments and is well positioned for future growth.
