SK15 Bar & Bistro
The Brief
Design Metric was appointed to design and deliver the full interior for SK15 Bar & Bistro — a stylish new venue in the heart of Stalybridge. The brief: create a shabby-chic bar with a modern, urban twist. Rich textures, lush greenery, and standout lighting define this warm, inviting space that transitions effortlessly from day to night.
The Concept
The concept combines urban and biophilic styling — velvet-textured fabrics, preserved greenery, and concrete-inspired surfaces. Lighting was designed to shift with the mood: ambient warmth by day, a decadent glow by night.
Bespoke joinery, soft seating, and a branded social media wall form focal points throughout, creating an experience that’s as photogenic as it is functional. Full fit-out included electrical works, flooring, FF&E install, and decorative finishes.
The Outcome
SK15 stands out as a confident, characterful bar that delivers a full customer experience — relaxed by day, buzzing by night. Plush materials, greenery, and an immersive lighting scheme make it a standout addition to Stalybridge’s social scene.
